Combine a perfect day and a perfectly prepped track and what do you get? 461 entries at Crow Hill as the NESC Spring Series begins it's final quarter. Many classes had full or nearly full gates, even the Female class had 20 entries and none of the classes needed qualifiers so everyone got to race.

Finally a perfect spring day on a Sunday and that weather lured a lot of riders to Southwick's Moto-X 338, a total of 477 entries made it another big NESC day.

The rain during the week was also just about the perfect amount keeping the dust down and helping the track to hold together although by the end of the day it was rough and whooped out.

The NESC Spring Series drew a big crowd at MX207 last Sunday pulling in exactly 450 entries. There was no rain this Sunday but there sure was some wind! Riders reported to feeling stopped in mid-air off some of the bigger jumps, luckily a few twisted E-Z Ups in the pits were the worst victims of the gusts.

Josh Clark continues to be the guy to beat in the Pro classes although he did trade moto wins with Mike Sottile in the 200+ class. Sottile set the fastest lap of the day with a 1:56:972 during the first moto. read more

239 hardy racers turned up for the opener at Crow Hill, ignoring an ominous forecast that was unfortunately accurate this time around. Practice and the first half of the day were mostly dry but the rain came in strong during the second motos.

The rain seemed to agree with Josh Clark however who had a perfect day in the 125 and 200+ Pro class winning all four motos on his H.A. Latham Movers sponsored Yamaha. read more
